Hey guys, recently picked up a '98 ZX9R, 39,000km. Had new tyres on it, good price. Registered.
Did oil and filter change, DNA air filter, front brake pads, drained and flushed fuel tank and carbs, balanced carbys with my new vacuum gauges, managed to destroy the rear cush drive at Wakefield a week after i got the bike, replaced them, front brakes were nasty, cleaned and put a kit through front calipers and master cylinder, put HEL nraided lines on. I have the rear caliper and master cylinder rebuild kit, but haven't got round to doing it yet. Put a ventura rack on to haul my shit for work back and forward on the commute. Battery seemed a bit shit and didnt test well, bike had been sitting for a year, ridden 3 times around the block, replaced battery.

4 weeks later...... running like a dream.

I cant believe how much i love this bike!!
To work and back through the traffic its great, quick spin out to Wisemans Ferry it awesome, the BMW K1300S sits unused in the corner of the garage......
..... and then there was another kawasaki purchase.....

Yeah , 1st time at wakefield, rider training day, learnt heaps.
Get a 9, good ones only last a few days (or hours) on Gumtree, but they are out there.

Yeah, I am partial to the B Model only because I like the look and have the same motor in my zx7. I am thinking of going for the F model though if I can get one at the right price and in the right colour scheme
