Was looking at giving the barge a face lift, anyone bought these fairings before? Good or bad? Or easier to just respray the original fairing.

This is what my Barge looks like now, with those fairings. Most punters reckon it looks even better in the flesh. You don't get the tank cover or the pillion-seat cover with the chinese fairings, so factor that in.

I will be the first to admit that the finish is not japanese quality. Some of the small bolt-holes needed cleaning up - not a big job - but the inner fairing panels are pretty crook as far as holes lining up is concerned. But the nose cone/side fairings all line up OK. The seat surround fitted up pretty well.

For <$500 delivered to my door, these were a great option. They are not intended for long-term use, only until I source all the OEM body panels that were fuxxored in the Great Leap of Faith 2010. They have given the old girl a good facelift ( 10 years old next year !! time for some Orleans lovin' I think ;) ) and I like the green/black combo.

I picked up another tank cover and pillion seat cover from local ebay, and had our local bike-painting specialist (Redback Race Paint) - match the green. He also did the match-up with the striping....did a great job I reckon.

That does look a great job Gos, I'm gutted they don't do them for the ZXR as I be straight onto a set of race reps!
