Some more progress has been made.
I've started to mock up to see what I can get to fit, have to make, etc.

After a number of attempts and redesigns, I've pretty much settled on this.
Anybody happen to know where I can buy a gear shift rod approx. 350mm long?

re the shark fin, have you thought about designing it to use the swing arm rear stand bobbin mount instead of drilling into the swing arm? i remember buying one like that for my old ZX6R, just bolted straight on.

BTW great work

I did think about it and have plans to draw up something along those lines.
For the moment, I'm going with this as a couple of mates want them and, they're all different bikes.

I'm trying to decide on which of the following bracket designs to fabricate for the steering damper fork clamp.
So, KSRC brains trust, what do you think, A, B or C?

B or C will be easier to take off and put on. There's nothing worse than fitting up a set of forks and then realising you have to pull one back out because you forgot the damper mount.

IMO, B will have a moment applied equally across the 2 bolts, whereas C will have a much larger moment applied at the further bolt, which will mean that your bracket will have to be overengineered on the mount side to compensate for the different strength required on the other side.

Though C may be easier to mount and dismount...
