Radiator Fan??

Radiator Fan??

Hey all,
Is it a benefit to replace the plastic OEM radiator fan to an aftermarket 6 blade aluminium one, anyones thoughts on this appreciated.

Some use these on ZRX's when the original headers are replaced for aftermarket one's as the extra heat has been known to melt fans don't know of any other benefits though.
