I have a 2001 ZX9R with 55000km. It has a scorpian exhaust and that is only modification. Yesterday the battery went flat whilst the bike was parked at work and I havenow learnt about the furthest key position all the way to the right that leaves the park lights on.
So tried to jumpstart it, using a car but now it won't start at all. The starter motor did start the first timebut now nothing, all i here is constant clicking sound when the holder the starter button down. After the third attempt and the last, all the nedle dials have gone all the way to the right and don't come back to zero at all.
Any help/thoughts/suggestions as to what has gone wrong would be great. cheers phil

It's your battery mate, it has basically "deep" discharged, it may recover with 24 hours on a trickle charger - don't be tempted to rapid charge as you'll more than likely warp the plates inside

I don't suffer from insanity; I enjoy every minute of it.
