zxr 250a blinkers

Postby MickDee » Wed Apr 29, 2009 10:53 pm

Hi guys,

I have just got a nice 01 zx6r, and am selling my 89 zxr250 to a young fella. However, the blinkers have just stopped working, and I don't want to give him something that's not in good working order, being a leaner and all. Is there another fuse box apart from the one right next to the battery? Or is there a blinker relay? It was working a few weeks ago when I started it last, but it has just stopped working. Any help would be great

Mick

have a look at the indicator sender unit, it might just be as simple as a loose or disconnected wire or the sender itself knackered. try and follow the indicator wires as far as you can through the loom. if you can't find any disconnected wires, replace the sender, it should only be a couple of bucks from supercheap. i've got a C model, so i can't tell you if the A has any more fuses around the place.

Where is the sender unit? And I'm afraid that that website won't open for me. At least my zx6r is going well, and putting a huge arse smile on my face lol
