Finding Parts

Postby Mike » Tue Feb 03, 2009 9:59 pm

Hi all,

Just wondering, besides wreckers where buy you guys find parts, and in particular, aftermarket gear for older generation ZXR models.

Most websites I've been looking through have little or nothing for bikes pre-2000's.

Any links or phone numbers?

Cheers,
Mike.

I've been trawling ebay for months a trick start at the furthest page (if your search is by end date ) first as you can have listings of 5,000 plus (generic Kawasaki Ninja Parts etc)
I have been lucky with some parts only had one shady from the states sent me a can without a baffle system so I got an empty shell lost the bucks not happy , but I'v had heaps more success and England is good too but they worry about the cost of freight pays to check our dollar conversions and add just a little for the exchange rate conversion costs
Hey I just bought a new (not second hand. still had the sticker on it) headlight for $150.Aust dollars including 20 puonds for frieght, also got new Header Exhaust system Stainless Steel landed at my address for $ 440 Aust dollars or 185 pounds

Good Luck hope it Works for you

If your not scratching or scraping it your not riding it hard enough!! Keep it shiny side up

find a part . com. for mostly used parts, it sends your message out to a network of wreckers and they usually all get back to you if they can help.
I too would like to know about aftermarket parts for the old girl. gives me the Sh!ts when nobody does anything for my year model zx9, but cover every other possible year and model ninja

Yeah, I tried find-a-part and within 48 hours had someone call me up with the part I needed. :kuda:
