Postby frog » Tue Oct 14, 2008 9:22 am

I have previously posted pics of wind down shots from QR and we have all seens scrapes under the fairings of 12's especially around the pipe exit but I submit a new lean angle limit for the mighty 12R... I know, I know pics or it didnt happen.

That is a fuckin brave effort !

I know the 9's scrape engine cases, ala madkaw at track, but I have not heard of the 12's doing it before..

i think the "coolant" is water, seeings how the bike is filthy from riding in the rain.

if it had crashed i reckon there'd be scrapes going upwards, not just horizontal.

need the full pic frogsta 8)

Nope its NOT binned, the footpeg also got ground and the wing went down too.
As pointed out the scrapes are horizontal not vertical and I am guessing there is a flies dick on case left.
BUT as Maxwell Smart would say "I was THAT close"
It was a Brown (Pants) Mountain moment and only the knee and devine intervention kept it up.
It would be the closest as I have EVER been without actually cartwheeling to oblivion.
Of course a lesser rider would have lost it (insert wank emoticon here  )

The standard has been set gentlemen..... your mission, should you chose to accept it etc. etc.

If you were a better rider, you probably could have parked it perfectly upside down, resting on the bars, tank and seat. ;)

You obviously had your tyre pressure set to 35.22223 psi, any higher and the 12 just runs out of traction and falls over.

I was searching tyre threads this morning and found a really funny one
