Does anyone have any idea where I can find a new/aftermarket fuel tap to suit the old girl.
I hunted for one a few months ago and found nothing, but back then all I needed was the inner seal kit anyway.
the T-Piece on mine is able to be popped out now. it doesnt seem to leak TOO bad, but fuel is seeping from god knows where and I have a feeling having been hit/dropped off its perch could have stuffed it. I'm also concerned about that T-Piece rattling out and spewing fuel all over the place.
Thanks in advance.

Does the B series 9 have a tap that bolts into the bottom of the tank or is it remote (i.e. connected by two lengths of hose)? I seem to remember it was the earlier, but if it's the later I've got a spare one here (from a 95 zxr750).

Yeah its the type that bolts into the bottom of the tank. Not sure how much I'm up for at the wreckers if they even have one. I'm trying to work out if they are similar to any other model.

The Ron Ayers site seems to be broken at the moment, but when it's up it'll show you other models that use the same part #. Beware, however, that the same part # doesn't *always* mean the same part (as I found out the hard way).

I did the seals in mine too a while ago and yeah how easy is it. but this time the tap took the full impact of the tank dropping on the concrete (the stand knocked over) and the T-piece came loose, and the o ring between the tank and tap was stuffed and started leaking. SO its been glued with retaining compound I think its called, the young bloke from the local bike shop took it home over night stripped it all down fully cleaned it and its rock solid now, just waiting on my tank seal/o ring.
I coulda done it but I get the sh!ts to easy!! I'm still hunting for a spare tap so I'll be snapping them up as they come. if ever!
