Hi everyone, i recently purchased a ZX2R and it has been great fun. Recently i noticed that there is a plastic tube piping that hangs out and the bottom of the bike is this normal? Thanks

Hi there, the pipe is just an overflow tube.... perfectly normal

yep as rob said perfectly normal and its either the radiator overflow or airbox drain line (the crankcase vent goes into airbox so theres a little hose at the bottom of the airbox to drain the oil out of the airbox)
the radiator overflow is on the right side of the engine (while sitting on it) and airbox drain to the left of the engine-hose runs through the sprocket cover

Actually, its not rubber .. Its Licorice!
And if you suck on it, you will get a nice sherbert hit

Well there are three possibilities, battery overflow, but yours likely has a sealed battery, which would negate that (but if you had yourself a gpx250 there would be one), airbox overflow (really? i guess its for ram-air models) and radiator overflow.
