Really stupid question but can you get an after market one from some one like Motoradco??
All they would need was your old one to see if they can make one up surley.

I just costed a fan for a ZX7R on our computer and it comes to $880 including GST. This is still pretty steep for a fan but your local dealer is rorting you...

i know wolf racing in brissy deal with muzzy parts, prolly a dealer in sydney though

Wreckers in Vic came through under $100.

Culprit was a 4mm wide bit of gravelstone covered with ashphelt sitting inside at the bottom of the
shroud where there is no opening for it to get out.
This has deformed the edges of 2 blades that have then seized against the shroud.

Re Wolf Racing, they have closed their doors and are selling what ever is left over on eBay

I may have a spare one (if you haven't yet bought the one from the wreckers). I can check the workshop later today for you.

I've got a couple of fans from a ZXR750 in perfect nick ; if they'll work as I suspect they should, you can have either for $50. PM me if you want a pic.

Sorry Rob, you lost me there - sounds like I'm following a long-established pattern though. In the same vein, i used to sell a bit of stuff to Ben Shaw at Extreme Creations, and he once said to me that based on my prices, he thought that any ZXR part must be worth $150, no more and no less
