Got the shims today... so the cams are back in..... carbies on.....so it is getting there..... I will sort it out over the next couple of weeks and it will be ready for the new year ;)

I can't wait to get it done......

There is one little problem to be fixed though.. and that is the rear rim has a bit of a buckle.... so will have to see about getting it straightened! it is not too bad, and I can just run with the spare rims which are straight as anyway!

Laurie Alderton (or more correctly Dave, his sidekick) will fix the rim. Probably about $90 and a few days turn-around.

If you go down that route let me know as I have client in the same street as Laurie so I could slip out for a delivery / pick up / network & do the logistics from this end :D Laurie has done a rim for me amongst many other fixes & mate the rim came out perfect!

Laurie Alderton is a dead-set legend from way back - if he is doing the work on your rims mate, you'll be fine.

There used to be a mob over in Queanbehole who did this, but they closed the shop about 4 years ago.... :(
