G'day guys,

just having a look at the bikes intake, under the head light where those air intake slots are, it actually seems to be all closed off and 2 little tubes are what suck in the air.

My question is can u open those slots right up to get more air in? or is it best just leaving it how it is ?

Has anyone attempted it before ? wat results did people get?

The two little tubes inside the ram-air ducts are the carb balance tubes that equalise the pressure on the carbs to compensate for the ram-air pressurising the airbox. The main body of air is still going through the larger ducts and into the airbox.

Leave them as they are and don't forget to reconnect them if you ever take the fairings off otherwise it will run like shit and get worse the faster you go.

What would he know? Those tubes are actually photon collectors for the flux capacitor. He's just spinning the factory line of "carburettor balance tubes"




Actually what they do is this -
Because the "Ram Air" system imparts such a force on the carb slides it causes them to jam / stick in their guides because of the air pressure against them. These tubes do something magical and balance this positive force with a negative - Yin Yang / The force, Dark side - kinda stuff and make the Kawasaki motorbicycle propel itself ever faster towards the horizon.
In short Saki don't mess with them they hold a mysterious power
