i want to get rid of my exhaust on my 2002 zx9r i just bought. i would like to get a custom exhaust that comes out only under the bottom ferring. would that cause my bike to run differenly or is it safe?

not sure how much of the headers they would have to cut back to get ya can on, but if it has a divider plate through the headers and they cut any of it back as they did on my zx6r if makes for a pain in the arse for tuning the midrange.
