Gday this is my version of what you have done

i have relocated the ingnition switch to where the ram air duct used to run

Ihave also replaced the resivoirs with some smaller jobies just to tidy it all up.I also used the fuel gauge on te Acewell as the temp gauge
as mentioned earlyer

the bikes looking good now the all the plastic is gone and you will love the new rideing position.
It is good fun giveing some of the racer boys the hurry up with a big set of bars and sitting upright all nice and comfortable

I have seen this bike in the flesh, very neat indeed aye Tom

Are you guys with fat bars just drilling the standard tripleclamp and bolting the handlebar clamps to it?

Most do as it cheap and easy or you can get a comfort kit but for

This is the underside of my top triple.First a got the die grinder out and remover the webbing to make a nice flat surface then cut and shaped some 10mm alloy plate to fit the void then did the same with some 3mm plate so that i had a uniform thickness all the way across the triple.I then used single bole risers with washers under the nut. some say that it is over enginered to the shit house as the top triple dosn't take much of the load, but at least i can be conferdent that it wont fail

As for the risers, the pictures that I haven't taken show the process for attaching where a friend helped me make up a nice template to measure and mark off a couple of holes. I made sure to buy risers that attached with a single large bolt instead of two smaller ones that way it would attach to the yoke without having the supports (webbing) underneath getting in the way. Bolts go through and attach the risers, and locked them into place with a little bit of thread lock to prevent any incident.
