1, cant smash them when I drop it (its inevitable!) if they arent on there.
2, I love streetfighters
Removing fairings doesn't make a bike a streetfighter, it makes it a faired bike sans fairings. I'm not a huge fan of streetfighters generally, but done well they can look good. By all means rip the fairings off, just do something neat with what's left behind.
well yeah, of course. thats the reason I havnt just gone and ripped anything off that I can get at with a screw driver. I'm a perfectonist when it comes to my cars, and my bikes are no different. I hate half assed crap.
And I dont call something a fighter just cause its missing fairings. It would be all in or nothing.
like my first bike (the zx2r) not a fighter by any means, I dont like to call it that AT ALL - EVER. why fighter a 250!! (well thats my opinion) it was my learner bike.
but because I had no front fairings, I got it on the road, styled and kitted out like a fighter, done as clean and simple as I could. not for looks, out of urgency. and on a tight budget!, just so happens fightered was the cheapest and most effective way
Iv got my shopping list of what I need if I did fighter the 9 but I cant afford time off the road, its my only transport. and the more time goes on the more I find myself thinking.. I could NOT change a thing on this bike I love the look of it too much !!
when the 250 is back together as a stock bike, I'll be getting rid of it and finding my project bike I think.
I'll just try extra hard not to be a dumbass and drop the thing in the meantime!!! me + shiney = broken eventually ...
