Keep waiting mate. I've read enough of Strika's posts to know when he's trying to catch a fish. I'm just going to let this one slide. Interesting to note that he thinks that talking to the good people in the community will result in less crime and more apprehensions. Clearly someone who has no-idea how things work but is happy to offer "advice".

A very long term and close friend of mine who is a senior sergeant in the victoria police disagrees with you entirely. My post is based on the methods he has shared with me, which he utilises to apprehend criminals. I tend to not speak without some factual basis and while I am in no way attempting to portray any thorough working knowledge of modern policing, I tend to see his rationale as rather logical. But, you very obviously have a much more thorough working knowledge than he and I should forever discard any information he passes on regarding his methods. Best you get back to reloading the film in your wheelie bins. 8)

Possibly the most useless rank in any Australian police department. However, this is now very off-topic and detracting from the original post.

Like most criminals, eventually they farkup themselves. I bet the farken coppers were hiding in the bushes and pulled the thief over for speeding ;) Now they can not only fill their quoter, but get a pat on the back for recovery of stolen goods.
