Nah, thats from the 07 event.. I ended up 4th from memory...
It was my first race meeting...
Lots of the same guys and bikes were there last week I see.
Tomassetti
Wet 4 u (he's in that pic down the grid after a dnf in the race before - he still came past me before we got to turn 2.. :-( )
Cook

Avery on the ex Pete Jackson yam 750 won from memory - he was into the 39's I believe.
Beau Beaton was in there too in his first race.

My bike developed a intermitten problem after that meeting and I never raced it again... I entered the next years Barry Sheene but the problem arose again and I had to withdraw..

4th is a massive effort...

Wetty smashed em this year...but look at his bike its magic.
Alex had some trouble on there bike on Sat, spent all night in the shop at Mototech fitting a donor engine.

Hopefully i'll be out next year, with a very empty wallet.

Yep, theres some pretty serious machinery out there, Avery's and Wet 4 u's bikes are both ex factory superbikes. Probly 150 hp or something and all the good bits...
Mine had 112hp....
At least it finished all the races... unlike the zx7rr.. :-)
My bike only cost me $3000, spent about another $1000 on fixing it up and suspension rebuilds, so its not that expensive to race, unless you actually want to win of course.. :-)

Just for fun for me.... got mine for $5.5 add race glass, pipe, rear sets and tune the carbies she'll be ok, loosing weight on these old bungas is the biggest gain.

Got my 7R December last year but had to wait till end of march so I could ride. ( I was still on my P's ) Picked her up for 4,200 with 41k on her and she flys well compared to a 250 anyway.

I know what you mean gpxpunk I was thinking of selling mine but I can't do it. I'm goin to take some time and try to change my suspension and hopefully set it up right for me because I'm a heavy guy.
