I'm thinking of pushing the forks through the tripple clamp on my zx12 just to see if it will steer a little bit quicker , already got a 190 on the back and that helped.
From what I've read people seem to drop them between 5 -10mm , has any one done this and did it make much of a difference?
I can't really raise the rear because I'm a short arse
Any advise would be helpfull.

Totally different bike I realise but after dropping my ZXR750 5mm through the forks the difference was unreal! Tipping in way quicker!

I dropped mine 6mm's and it made a very noticeable difference in tight corners with a 190/55 rear .

Dont do the fork thing, your better off to raise the rear ride height on the shock with spacers on the ZX12R otherwise you WILL scrape the fuk out of your fairings if your suspension is stock.
Not that I would know much

I'd be listening to Jonno's advice regarding ZX12s. I've not seen anyone steer a 12 better than him and Gos.

Thanks for the heads up Jonno , I had heard of that happening.
It's just that I'm a bit of a short arse and on the balls of my feet now
