I use mine for quick trips around town when I don't have to deliver any gear, I'm a builder.
I can't get enough, it's such an awesome thing to ride.
New tyres soon then I'll be able to push it a little further.
I bought a Factory Pro jet kit & expect it today according to the tracking. It ended up a bit expensive after I paid for local postage of $12 & then another $38 for international. The Americans seem to gouge on postage or is there some sort of gov't tax that makes postage huge. I am trying to buy some Arai helmet visor screws & there some in america for $2 but postage is $48. not good for sales, why even bother advertising.
Anyway, she has a little hesitation at low revs from take off say from a stop & a couple of times I thought I wasn't going to get her back up but a handfull of throttle saved it. I have a K&N inlet filter & a full Hindle exhaust system so she's pretty free flowing hence the starve, be interesting to see the difference. Ive done a thousand k's now since the re birth so I have a feel for her.
I did a 2 hr ride on the weekend up into the valley & it was magic, just like when I was 25. If its a mid life crisis I've been having it since then & I hope it hangs around till I'm dead.
I posted an issue that you guys might be able to help with. The rubber oil tube off the sump leaks at the top & I can't get it to stop, seem like the clamp isn't up far enough but there's a bolt head that stops it, still thought where it is that it would seal but I m struggling. I bought another type of HD clamp & will have a good go at it this weekend. Do your leak or are they dry ?
It's getting all over everything as well as the rear brake which gets a bit soft till it drys out.

Jim, its an old, apparently 'Vintage' Arai Giga. Its been stored for a while & still like new, I just cant bring myself to buy a new onw for $1200 when it's just as good. One of the 4 little flat headed clear screws has broken off & the visor moves around a bit when open. It'd be great if you have a contact.
I rode it again last night in the dark, which is exciting when you get to my age, the lights are great & the high beam is unbeleivable, maybe I've been away for too long but theyre better than some of the trucks I have now. I do notice they are hot to touch, are they all like that ?
I'll get back onto the painting soon, just lost the motivation, probably the cold winter. Got the lower body & the front upper to paint to finish her off.
I've been reading the tyre post & bloody hell more unsure than ever, what do you guys run ? & what tyre pressures for the road.
