Turbo 98 ZX9! tips, hints and general know how needed

hi guys and girls. long story short is i am the proud owner of a mint condition 98 model zx9 and since i want to keep this bike for many years to come i would love to do something crazy to it, ie a turbo!

anyone on here have any thoughts on this? by that i mean anyone with much experience in forced induction on older carbie bikes. If so please let me know if this is doable as im not an expert in this department and someone tried telling me you cant turbo carburetted engines?
