Yep, i looked at the first one, and was considering giving the guy a call when i had the cheque in hand, hopefully its still around then.
i reckon i could get him down lower consider what he wrote on the ad, but makes me wonder whats wrong with it...

ive decided i wont get anything lower than 2000 due to several reviews about gear boxes

Well yesterday I had my day in court, at the end of it i've come away with my license still but thinking the 9 has to go alas :( I love kit, super comfy, great tourer too but it will cost me my license in the end i'm sure so Mr Wasabi, if you're interested mine is up for grabs for 4k, aesthetically not the best but mechanically fine, registered till Jan 2011 and just had 2 front rotors installed.

Just FYI, I have heard of 2, yes two bikes that this has happened to......of all the C's around thats a pretty low percentage reaaly. Especially the amount with good amounts of K's on them. If you find a nice C, I wouldnt discount it cause of that problem that would have appeared to have affected only very few bikes ;) .

Thats a cheap bike from someone with some credibility.
Had you been in this position 3 months ago, i would have had your bike for sure.

Throw another $1000 on its aesthetics and youve got a reliable $5000 bike!!!

Since when has anyone considered me credible?? :) I'll throw in the Air Hawk too, makes a super comfy sports tourer almost as comfy as a BMW. PIcs and k's will come shortly. I've just nmoved house so shit scattered everywhere :( Me in one place bike in another even at this stage, hopefully rectify that later today.

Well i went to test ride a 9 on the weekend, sorching heat so that didnt add to the fun but i got to see what the big boys play with.

First impressions, "how the fuck am i going to get my legs around that tank?"
but once i sat on it i slipped right in and felt right at home. The test model was an 03 which i dont think are that different from the 00 and 01 as far as ride position goes...dont know someone correct me if im wrong.

took it around the burbs, as the dealer decided to come with me on his speed triple i only had a short run, but from what little ride time i had i could tell this thing had a lot more power down low. Even on 4th gear cruising at 2-3k rpm it picked up without a worry in the world.

Still looking for the right 00 or 01 model, but if i cant get one in my price range, im driving down to Melb :D :kuda:

C, E and F models are all very similar in the ride position. Alot will depend on the way the rear shock is set up. E and F models have ride height adjustment (so do C models if you have an Ohlins :D ;) )

As far a sports bikes go I doubt they get more comfy for normal sized people ;)
