Advise needed

I'm looking at puting on of these camera mounts on the 12 http://www.motodracing.com/iphone-motorcycle-mount.html
The mount via a threaded rod that goes through the centre nut on the triple clamp but mine has no hole through it.
What I need to know is could I drill a hole through the centre of the nut to mount this ?

A Greg Couch nut may help- they have a hole already and look pretty trick.

I'd imagine that they would have the same thread.
