Do some research on the net about adjustments , i.e what does what and trial and error your self all part of the fun. i haven't picked up my 7R yet so unsure of what you have to adjust or play with.
Some good info on the basics here

Start with the front end if you are having cornering issues.

Lower the triple clamps down the forks (dropping the front) by about 5mm and or raise the rear height by about the same. experiment..

They are a heavy and very stable bike so can use a bit of geometry alteration to get em to turn quicker..

On my zx7r roadie the front was down 5 and the rear was up about 5 - at least.
on my zxr race bike the front was down about 7 and the rear was up about 10... maybe more...

Theres plenty..
Get rid of the all the crap (reservours) under the air intakes and run tape from the front to back of the plastic intake to block the hole and make em straight thru. I had carbon straight thru ducts on mine.
Remove the KLEEN.
Remove the steel mesh from the std air filter - or fit race filter - don't bother with K&N as it flows the same as std but not as good as std with mesh removed.. :-)
4 deg ignition advancer works well (if exhaust and jet kit fitted).
The preload adjuster on the front forks is actually a ride height adjuster - has similar effect but if racing get em sprung correctly..
Put a zxr750 crank in it with a thicker or double head gasket - it will increase the stroke and take the bike to a 790 or something like that - I haven't done this but a lot of ppl have.. I think Murray did..??

Cool, cheers.
I think Wetty's going to build mine on a progressive budget or give it to Wayne Smith.
Finding parts is the hard part....

http://homepage.ntlworld.com/webzxr/zxr750r/ should help a bit. Great resource for 7R's. Surprised MadKaw hasn't mentioned it yet, normally one of your first suggestions Dave ;)
