ZXR250 C model gearbox noise

Hi Guys

I understand the kwakas have fairly noisy gearbox's.

But im wondering how much is actually normal.

I have a 1994 ZXR250 C model and you can hear the gearbox whining when idling. Once cruising it goes away.
The gearbox operates fine, goes through the gears fine, never pops out etc, but im just wondering how much noise they generally make, and if its normal ?

bike has 41,000 k's

Hey dude i have a ZX2R but i don't hear any gearbox noise at all, don't think its normal man.
