Buzz/rattle ZX7R

Hi All.

Just noticed a buzzing/rattling on the right side (sitting on the bike) of the ZX7R, just below the ram air box cover thing and behind the frame. It is in tempo with the revs... it is more a buzz than a ticking, and doesnt sound too metallic. The cam chain on my old zzr250 was shot, and the sounds are different... Im fairly positive it isnt fairing buzz, though i only really noticed it after i took the tank off, fiddled with the throttle cables (they were sticking) and cleaned the air filter/air box.

It is also somewhat inconsistent. When i bought the bike, the sound wasnt there (only a slight cam chain rattle, but i take it that is normal..) and the sound sort of comes and goes... changes in volume etc.

The bikes done 30,000km's. Is it a camchain issue?

My 7 had a bit of a rattle, it ended up being the plastic guides braking apart on the inside of the rocker cover.
