Is the bracket 32046A(from link) and bolt what is used to secure the riders seat on the zx9R? mine is missing any securing bolt and only slides under a home made bracket on back of tank and plastic lugs on back of seat seat in holes of frame but there is a slot in the plastic that must have a latch or bracket bolted. Anyone have a picture of what holds the seat in for me?

A plastic tang on the front of the seat base locates into bracket 32046 (this bracket also secures the rear of the fuel tank). Once the seat is in place the plate 32046A inserts into the rear of the seat base and is secured by the bolt on a ducktail cross brace.
Hope this helps.......if it doesn't I'll go out and take some pics.

Thanks just wanted to make sure it was a bolted bracket and not a latch. I had asked a few wreckers for a latch but now know it only need a bracket and bolt cheers!

Does anyone here have a a set of these seat brackets and bolts lying around on a wrecked bike that they would be interested in selling plus postage to Sunbury Vic 3429? Chasing them at wreckers now that I know what I'm looking for
