44 tooth rear sprocket ZX9

Postby pjz » Sat Jul 19, 2008 1:27 am

Hey guys just wondering if anybody out there has fitted a different sprocket to the rear of their 9, l currently have the standard 41 tooth looking at putting a 43 or 44 tooth in there, lve already dropped 1 on the front to a 15, just wondering if l need to get a new chain with more links or is the standard chain long enough to fit if l adjust the wheel all the way forward?
Any advice would be sweet :D , anybody who's been there before...

Forgot to mention it a '98 C model, if it matters.

With 1 down on the front going up 3 on the back will really gear it low. For the track I used 1 down on the front and std or 1 up on the rear.
Unless your chain has stretched a bit you may struggle to get that big a rear sprocket on but with 1 down on the front you could probly fit it.
