I haven't heard Gos's since he cut it but I've heard Hoffy's and its loud.

I've had a Yoshi RS3 on a 9 and it was loud. I've got an Akra on the 10 and it's not loud but it sounds nice.
It's really all about standing around drinking Dave's beer.

Yeah if you are just getting a bolt on get the Yoshi. If you are getting a full system and money isnt an issue go the Akra I know a few people with the Akra and it didnt need a PC3. I have a Muzzy full system and it sound great but it cost me nearly a grand for the PC3 and tunning to get it to run ok. I got it from the USA and it was cheap. It arrived a week or so later and was a perfect fit. Looks good too. ;)

QUICK THERE IS ONE ON EBAY, GOOD PRICE TOO..

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ZX12R-Kawasaki-0 ... dZViewItem" target="_blank" target="_blank

Mate you need a Yoshimur ! The yoshi's blend with the stock header better in my opinion, I have seen some dodgy looking mounting plates and shrouds on other brands, such a Jardine, D&D..etc.

Fully sick Yoshimur mate ! cant go wrong and the bike runs great with it on.

We can even help you shorten it

I'll be looking for a muffler for my 2006 12 soon too.

I want to eventually fit a PCIII and have it custom tuned, but which brands can bolt on & run fine without a PCIII or tuning(if any)?

I do like Hoffy's muff. 8)

thats the difference in looks between a full system and a slip on muffler. the big guys muzzy looks suhweet, like REALLY suhweet. the stainless muzzy cans are *really* shiny.

it is also really loud but has a really deep bellowing note that is easy to listen too, in fact the Hoff was all over the back of the big guy like a bad suit just trying to listen to it

A Yoshi RS3 will bolt straight up with no PCIII required. They work *great*, and so do a few others....

Muzzy pipes need a bit more tuning than most, but do have an awesome note, and once tuned, work really well.

I used JC Motors Motorcycle Exhausts (e-bay) for the Yoshi, it was >$300 cheaper than the local dealer....
