Overall it was a pretty good day. The rain held off for four sessions, tha cars pretty well behaved themselves and all up there was about 12 bikes on the track. Everyone packed up when the rain hit at about 3.00 .

Thanks to Dave and Russ and of course Rob for taking the happy snaps and Timmyrocks for coming out for a look( the leathers look good mate). Me and Chris both had good days, I think we both actually got a bit quicker and Chrisso's now got his knee down everywhere except 1. He got past me once going into two but we were pretty even all day (thanks to me having an extra 50 or so hp). I think all the fork oil has pretty well leaked out of the Gumby now so I probably need to get that sorted soon, otherwise both bikes performed well ( except for mine jumping out of 4th coming down the straight once :? )

I had a good day, for a change.
Everything fell into place and all went well.
Would have liked to have got another session in but 4 good sessions was just about my limit anyway.. :-(
Had a great last session dicing with Grant Hay for 3 or 4 laps then having a chat to him after and getting a couple of tips on where I was going well and where I can improve.. Surprise, surprise - the hot tip is I should brake harder.. Braking points were good but need to get of em sooner in a couple of corners..:-) I told him I was giving it all she's got... they are stock zx10r brakes after all... The old girl proved she can stay with the current cbr 1000 (and one with a good rider on board..) - the rider just needs a bigger set of rotors (as Phil would say).. :-)
Got something to try this week to see if we can improve the situation.. ;)

Does that mean you'll be there on the 20th to test it out Dave? I know you have permission ;)

I'm not sure 'do whatever you like" is permission... :-)

Unfortunately the 20th booked out... so will be testing on the 6th of March...
