ELS order

Postby J.B » Tue Aug 12, 2014 1:46 pm

Hey guys,

Will be putting in an order with Kwick next week, mainly for a radiator fan bracket, so wanted to check if anyone else was thinking of getting something from him in the near future. My parcel will be mostly empty space so could fit quite a few more things in the same box.

Just thought it may save a bit on postage if a few people wanted some other small items. I'll be putting the order in on the 19th (one week today) so let me know if you'd like me to add something to my order.

Cheers.

Thanks mate. I think I'm pretty full up with Kwick stuff at the moment. I still haven't done my starter chain tensioner and fuel tap.

I've already got them I just haven't put them on yet. I should go and have a look at his website to see if he's got anything new

Then maybe if I'm going to do the starter chain tensioner I should do the slipper clutch while I'm at it :? And this is how it goes.......damn you ZRX.......damn you Phil.........damn you Kwick........... :D

Talking about ELS and Kwick, has anyone done this mod:

No’Flo! Exhaust Air Injection Plugs

That's the first time I've seen them. When I eventually fit the ZZR cams I have, I might have to add this little mod to the list.

I've got the No'Flo plugs in mine already but was going to buy a few more sets anyway. If people want some I can add a few extra to my order easy enough.

It might explain why I always use a bit of oil when touring, and why my plugs are a little oily. Compression is good.

Kwick will include them in a valve cover gasket set, for no extra cost.

These might not suit the ZX12R, where the diameter of the OEM dowels are slightly larger.

I have just replaced the dowels on the ZZR1200, they were a pain to remove. They were also full of carbon crap.
ZRX next week.
The ZZR and ZRX will both be travelling to Phillip Island next month (offspring is riding the ZRX), and we'll see what the oil consumption is. I usually need to top it up on such a ride.

Well, I have all my stuff from Kwick. I also have 3 spare sets of the No Flo' plugs it any one would like a set.

If you do, just PM me and we can go from there.
