Zrx 2007 tank.....dropped it

Postby MKY » Sun Apr 28, 2013 8:58 am

So as the above states I dropped my tank while refitting, not happy at all.
So what are the chances of getting it fixed with the correct colours and matching stripe? It is the black with the holographic in it over and under the white?
The dint is on the front left over the green, black and white.

Or am I up for a colour change

Mackay..... land of the expensive.

I have polished it and put some clear on it just to protect it till I get it fixed.

Yep it won't take long for corrosion to get under the whole lot.

Sorry no contacts up there.

I have a mate in Brisbane who does quality repairs on old and new tanks. He doesn't do the respray but he may be able to repair the structure... I will vouch for his work. His name is Paul Bushell and he also owns GAZI suspension. Mobile number is 0414 629 044.
I can warn him of your call if you like.

Thanks I need to call him about some shocks but this may slow the spending. My main concern is getting the matching decals.

Your only problem mate is finding the person that does the job properly.
1st you ring kawasaki and find out how much an original sticker is.That way everyone else seems to be that much cheaper!!
2nd job is decide who will do the job.

The hardest part of all is sticking your hand in your pocket to pay for it,of which you ain't got no choice. Bummer!!

Matching paint is no biggy.Neither is getting the sticker.....Look on the bright side man,at least you can still ride the sucker :kuda:
I luurrve the smell of 2stroke in the mornin'.
