zrx 1200 pipes

Will zx10 pipes fit on a zrx without modifying ? Or are there any other models that will fit? Cheers.

Farmer ,are you talking the whole system or just the cans?

I think you'll find that most systems are bike specific and not interchangeable without some sought of major modification.

The whole system. I just thought that if the cylinders were the same spacing that maybe different models may swap ? just a thought.

No - ZX10R pipes won't fit a ZRX. Not without huge mods. The ZX10R pipes have a much steeper angle of exit from the head, compared to ZRX pipes which exit the head only a bit below horizontal.

ZX10 pipes from the early model - at least the header pipes - could well fit straight onto a ZRX without any mods. Same with header pipes from any ZZR1100/1200. The motor is basically the same. The rest of the exhaust system might need some work though .....
