Finally after 8 months

Of a nice big box from Japan sitting in my garage, I finally got all the planets to align and my swingarm is now on the ZRX.

I must say a big thanks to Evro (or blade boy as the CDT crew will know him as) for doing 90% of the work :kuda: Evro used to be a technician for TKA a few years ago and raced superbikes (a ZXR-750) in the NSW and Australian Championships himself back in the 90's, so he knows shit about bikes that I dont, so he was the man to help out.

I got the arm from the guru in Japan, Drew Jonsen, it is a stock 2nd hand arm he purchased from Yahoo Japan and then sent off to K-Style Custom Factory http://www.kstyle-cf.com/ to be modded to my spec that I requested.

The whole thing worked out much cheaper than the original Onishi Heat Magic Arm I wanted so it was a good result all round. As always Drew was great to deal with and did exactly what he said he could do, I love the hassle free way he goes about sourcing parts from Japan.

Anyway its all on & I cant wait for tomorrow to go for a run :kuda: :kuda:

Nah Gos, if anything it would be a fraction heavier as the bracing is additional to an OE arm, but I doubt if would be much.

And travelling through Nasho at 60kph I doubt I'll notice any difference, smile on my face will be bigger and I had to do something to compete with Shaun's Triple Clamps ;) :D

aah yes the old Clamp envy. Bracksy used to get that all the time when Wobbler only used the infamous testy clamp on Sam !!!!

well the new swingarm sure looks the goods mate. Should take away a lot of the attention from Shaun's clamp
