Bought another Er6n today for my school, 3rd one.(all three are orange) I am convinced that the ER6s improve with age- rides every bit as good as the other two but it has 39000km compared to 18000 and 10000km. I have ridden a few Er6s and the more kms the better- the engine feels better and especially the suspension. Steered weird when I bought it, but straightened bent bars, adjusted bars and chain as well as pump up the tyres and it is AOK. Dunno how the chick rode it as it was - it was horrible.
Anywho this one has the frame cracked down near the RHS engine mount unlike the other two. Not bad but needs rewelding. Any suggestions for that? Wonder if Kawasaki have any warranty as it is a known fault in early er6s? Tempted to just grind back and crack out the MIG or fly Gos up here for him to weld it.
