Pazzo levers

Have fitted a pair of short Pazzo levers to my z1000. They look great, have done about 600 kms on them, probably not worth the money in my opinion, if you haven't got the money. I got them from www.bikegearwarehouse.com.au The service was very good and very prompt.

We have them on both of our Z's, black full length with orange adjusters for mine, and black shorties with red adjusters for Jeff's. we prefer the Pazzo's to standard for two reasons: firstly the look' and secondly the strength. They are stonger than standard (ie have survived a drop and an accident on Jeff's bike with just ending up bent), plus they have a break or snap point where they will break and still leave enough useful length. However, standard alloys tend to break at the base, rendering them unusable.

Just my opinion but after useing short pazzos around town i think a short brake and a long clutch is the way to go.

I had the short ones on my 675 and really liked them. Thinking about getting them for the ZX10 now.

are they *really* worth the money ?? I have resisted getting these for years, always thought that $350 for a pair of levers was, quite frankly, a load of bullshit. I have bought complete running bikes for less !!!

$215 delivered at Bike Gear Warehouse at the moment. They are good but if I had something else to spend my money on I would get that. As someone has already pointed out, if you drop your bike the long ones break at the end so the levers can still be used. My wife came off her bike a couple of weeks ago (she had long ones) near Bothwell, Tasmania not the sort of place you want to be stuck at, the clutch lever did break but was still usable for the rest of the trip but I guess you do not modify your bike while thinking about dropping it. I got short levers, if I lived in the city I would get long, or one short and one long as Mizz ZZR suggests.
