HEAPS COOL AWESOME, thats how awesome!

I took my new toy out for a spin today for my first 'real' ride on him. We headed up the old road to Road Warriors for brekky then up to Wollombi for lunch. I have NEVER had so much fun on a bike!

I've just changed bikes from GSXR600, whose sole purpose in life was turning me into an old woman.....well, thats how I felt each time I rode it (ok, well maybe its my old bones at fault and not the GIX but hey!!). I did a few hundred km's today and NO PAIN!! Yippeeeee - I'm just a TAD excited!

The front end is an absolute mother and produced a few nasty tank-slappers and the back end threw me over the handlebars a few times but Zeno will sort that out for me I'm sure (if I ask nicely enough).

But seriously, why hasn't anyone told me how much fun Zed's are until now????????????????

I've come home and set a reccuring diary event for every Sunday in my diary from next weekend until he end of 2014 to ride 'KWAK' - I want MORE!! The only exception will be in Winter 09 when it goes to the painter for a customised paint job (anyone know a good custombling bling painter in Syd?).

Anywhoo - thats my excited rant over. I'm off to dream about next Sundays ride..............

Did I see you at the Mobil at Berowra this morning? I grabbed some cash from the ATM and was parked near the door when somebody on a black z7fiddy was fueling up. I was on the green 03 zx9r.

Anyway, glad to hear you're hooked on your new steed. Maybe you can join us for the regular Sunday PITS run one weekend too.

Um I am sure it has been mentioned on numerous occasions and as for the front ends, Mine has a GSXR1000 + an Ohlin's up rear & would have top be one of the best handling little zeddys in the country ...... farkin love my Zed to bits

Yeah I had a lend of a z 750 once with stock suspension and scrap pegs up the old road!! Great bikes zed

i couldnt stop scrapping at the track, i was trying my dammest to get off the thing and it just wanted to keep scrapping pegs!

you clearly were'nt getting your bum right off the seat then.... gotta love scraping pegs... when u know its going to happen... when u dont u shit urself

add an R and an X to your Z and hold on tight

Ah there were a few corners on baskerville where the inside of the corner raises up as the corners camber tips out, its all wack i know, but its the 1 dam corner i kept getting stomped by this shitty hon hon!

but thats the thing, its more satisfying with less - well different HP. The ZRX is a perfect example, 120 rwhp, lots of torque - makes for interesting riding. Ground clearance will always be a problem at the track, rearsets may help but I dont particularly want to be uncomfortable 99.8% of the time for a lttle more clearance.

haha yer right! i know, Thats wat keeps floating in my mind 99% of the time i need the comfort!
I tell u wat tho, my bike makes a farken grunt noise, i got a straight thru pipe with 2 TRS yoshis on either side and my bike was the gruntiest at the track day. My mate took it for a few laps while i took his R1 and OMG wat a wall to be hit by! I will try get a sound clip and post it up!
