Z1000 Clutch Cables

Hi,

Interested to know how many times anyone who has a Z1000 (2003-2004) model if you have changed the clutch cable (yet) and did you do it yourself? Mine is stretched beyond belief now and I am going to have to replace it. Its also started to fray so it won't retract properly.

Funny thing is, when I called two places they said they had no stock? Pretty regular item I would have thought...

My cable had also frayed at about 20,000km.
My local dealer ordered it in & it arrived 2 days later from NSW.
Is a REALLY easy job to replace yourself and is a pretty cheap part.
