Rexess Rebuild

I managed to finally buy another small camera, after the last one failed to operate during a trip. I went with another Fuji camera, as I have never had one fail! 8) Thus equipped, I went and took some pics of the now not so mighty, Rex. Now, before you go scrolling down the screen.....be warned!!!! These are graphic shots of the Mighty ZRX1200S completely naked!!!! Well, apart from it's socks! So,..............if you do have a more sensitive disposition, then I would suggest not scrolling down....it could be ugly!!!

You may notice, the addition of a Silver belly pan! It kinda looks like crap sitting down there all alone, when no other bodywork is on it, however, I am sure that once the remaining body work is fitted, it should look a bit like it was meant to be there. If not, it's a 5 minute job to pull it off and sell it to Swabio! ;)

Ummm checked your recent posts and I'm pretty sure I might have missed it, but when did you come to grief?
Is that your bike in the 2nd and 3rd pic?
Need a hand let me know I can help.

Dargo weekend ride Adrian. Black Ice 3 klms from the summit of Hotham. Thanks for the offer of assistance mate, but it's simple enough even for me! It took about an hour to strip it and taking my time, it will be around a couple to refit the bits and pieces.

The tip over has had it's benefits. A little careful purchasing has allowed for some additions, including; Double bubble tinted Zero gravity screen, the belly pan, gold anodised valve caps (I found them in a box of stuff from an old business I had in the 90's) braided front brake lines and some skateboard wheels!!!! 8)

Also, buying bits for the Rex has gained me other stuff I can use for it down the track. Such as a full stock Kawasaki bolt kit, Spare brackets and some bits to make it into a full naked for next summer! ;)

If I take out the extra bits I bought, it wasn't much to repair, despite how it looks Rob. I got a 2nd hand engine cover for not much, repaired the scratched painted bits, bought a new fairing bracket and tripped over Phil's spare standard Zorst for not much coin. So it wasn't worth the agro. Plus, at least I get to control the end result! 8)

Rich, throw those panels and that tank in the back and I'll chuck something I have in a can in the shed on them! It may even encourage me to go in and read your track reports! Cause right now, I don't go in for fear of throwing up when that horrendous 1970's crystal mint green attacks my retina with it's putrid rays! :P

Marty,
I have the ZRX manual in .pdf format, by chapter. I can email the files to you if you want. Might do in the interim until you get the other manual.
Cheers,
Tony
