Leaking Clutch Fluid ZRX1100

Postby rooster » Mon Oct 22, 2007 1:59 pm

On my return trip from the Island I noticed/thought that my clutch seemed a tad soft. On the Tuesday Leaving Wagga I had trouble clicking neutral and when I finally got back to Campbelltown and told the boys at the shop they thought it just needed bleeding, however when we lifted the reservoir cover there was no fluid. Thought we had fixed it but no it is still leaking fluid. Any ideas as to why? We had put braided lines on about a month before the PI trip and up until the Monday on the return to Sydney there was no indication of anything wrong. The only other change was I bought the levers in from setting 2 to setting 4. :? :?
If life is like a box of chocolates, why do I always get the laxettes?

a weakness with suzukis (maybe kawas too?) is that the o ring that the pushrod goes through gets roadgrime on it, and it slowly wears away and destroys the o ring. I need to replace the o ring on my bikes clutch, I just haven't been sufficiently motivated to actually go and replace the thing.

All fixed the new lines were slightly fatter than the old and this put the alignment off just slightly causing the leak when the clutch cover was put back on. Yee Ha :D :D :D :D :D
