Rode her home 250Ks all up, first impressions, smooth engine, good torque,[not as grunty as the ZRX] great chassis! good brakes, nice riding postion. Suspension ifeels ok, but I need to dial it in a bit. So first ride Im happy. It was all freeway riding so its will be good to get into the twisties & give a go. Pics to come..

No the ZRX is safe, But I just miss the GREEN, this Ninja is ALL BLACK. But that will change in time, I have a few ideas, & I think it will blow everyone away with how it will turn out.
See ya at the PITS soon, just give me a call.

First whinge comming!!!!!!
The Ninja headlights?? I may as well stick a torch on the thing, I went for a ride in the night, the lights are pittyfull for such a modern bike to have such perthitic lighting in just wrong. The ZRX was 100 times better & it only had 1 light FFS! So I orded a pair of 100watt globes. That should so do the trick..
I took the mrs for a quiet ride down the old road yesterday, The chassis & enging is where this bike excels. The supension is pretty good, the brakes take a bit of pressure to get them to bite, but some pads will fix that.
It is slower in the steering than the ZRX, but Im sure thats the tyres it has Michalin Road 3s which are very flat in their profile, but its very stable, although we didnt go at any pace, I did find it hasnt got as much ground clearance as the ZRX , we dragged the footpegs a couple of times, so I'll have to remove the long bolt thingy that hang off the riders pegs. But so far so good. Im warming to it.

Just a word of warning - when upgrading the globes to a higher wattage - you'll generate more heat. Sometimes the plastic cowl that surrounds the back of your headlamps won't be able to take the extra heat generated and can distort or even melt in some situations.

zrx1200s have awful ground clearance... you should see the toes on phil's boots, im surprised you feel this is worse... have you flipped the eccentrics?

they have the 08+ ZX10r tokico's
Braided lines, Flip the eccentrics as mentioned.
and adjust your headlight down a bit, no doubt 2 up it was blinding cars.
The ZRX has the worst headlight in modern History. i highly doubt the new ninja1000 has shit ones.
