Looks great ! I was kicking myself at the moto GP there was a lime green ER6f.. they hadn't been released in Feb when i got my baby.. I had great trouble deciding between the blue and the orange... so i went blue with orange/grey leathers.. If i had have gone naked i would have prob gone the red/black - the demo pic was really sexy..

Tell me is the black hard to keep clean?..and how many Kms have you got on her now?.. Do you ride often?

Cheers

It's not too hard keeping it clean, in between washes I give it a bit of a wipe down with a damp chamois.

I have over 2500ks now, I had a weekend away with GRO(Girls ride out) up to Bathurst the weekend after I got it so that put a few k's on.

I don't ride as often as I like, try to go on organised group rides but with kids and family commitments it gets a bit frustrating seeing it sitting in the garage all lonely, lol. The first (and only) time I rode with some guys from here I crashed the bike............ now I'm too embarrassed to show my face again

Enjoy your special day !!

Bummer bout the stack.. but it happens to us all (even them)... it's not about the stack its what you learn from it and your ability to get back on it.
A wise biker lady said to me once...know yourself, know your bike and ride to your ability. You will know when to push your boundaries. When it comes down to it no-one cares you came off... they do care your ok.

I have been looking for some female bike rides/groups round my area, but they all seem to be NSW based.... i spose i'm only about 2 hours from the border
I've also been thinking of setting something up myself.. but i need to get myself organised...

What were you riding when you had the bingle?

I was in the Royal National Park, Sutherland (South of Sydney). It was low impact so only bumps and bruises but wrote the GPX250 off.

I'm doing a Stay upright course in December which will hopefully give me a bit more confidence on the corners.

Go and have a look at the GRO site http://www.girlsrideout.com.au, they may be able to give you some tips on how to setup a group, I've met some great people from there :)

ps. Great people on this site too ;)

Cheers for the info, i'll look into it -

Just a quick tip for the corners, hang on tighter with your thighs/knees that will soften your arms and lightly push not steer...you'll be ok :P

Riding courses are great especially if your on their bikes. I did a defensive riders course at HART in melbourne - it didn't help that i'd been on the turps the night before - but coming to the end of the day we started to do emergency breaking. There was about 20 people in the class of which i only knew 1 other person. First of the rank i jumped so hard on the front break i stood the bloody thing vertical- it seemed like i was up there for ages. I didn't go over the top but sideways- dropped like a bag of shit - i can remember thinking on the way down this was going to hurt...but i got up bowed to the line of bikes up the other end (to which i got cheers and honks) and then learnt how to safely pick up a bike without hurting my back!...pretty eventful day really :D

Happy trails
