Re: ZRX: Yoshi or Akra Bolt on?

To be honest, I'm not sure if it's titanium or not as it was on the bike when I bought it. I'll chase it up and let you know. It weighs a metric shit load less than the standard system though. As for the Kerker, it's a special price from an Australian distributor organised by another member on KSRC because they are getting two at once. ;) You can get the Kerker for under $1000 in the US at the moment, but the postage to get them here is the killer, so it worked out almost as cheap to get them from here and it keeps the dollars in Australia. They aren't nearly as well made as the Akra, but I just can't go past the look and sound of them for a twin shock, spine frame bike. Despite pressures from Leanne to get our finances in better shape, I won't be too disappointed if I employ the Gos principal and hang on to the Akra if it doesn't sell.

I got my Muzzy landed for about $800 Nelso. Freight was $150 from Southern California, through JC Motors Ebay store. I rang them first and asked for a quote on freight though.

I know the kerker is the original Eddie look but I kind of like the Aluminium look of the Muzzy. Having said that we need an 08 with a black kerker though so nice work 8)

Freight on the Muzzy system is way cheaper than the Kerker from JC, they could not do the freight any cheaper than $350. Different size box was the reason they gave me when I enquired.

Nelso's Akra system as a Titanium end can with Stainless Headers ;) They are a trick bit of kit that would give more HP than the Kerker, if you are worries about a few HP the Akra is the pipe for you. If your more about the look and sound there is no comparison to the Kerker Meg IMHO. If not a Kerker the Muzzy for looks ;) would be my second pic. If I was racing it and chasing every pony round the top paddock there is only 1 system and that is the Akra.

Whilst the K-Factory, Nassert Beet and Tsukigi etc systems are super trick they are also over $2K+Freight and duty when they arrive ;)

 That is ridiculously cheap! The Kerkers are over $900 just for the system.

When I say about $800 I can't remember exactly but was less than $850, but then the exchange rate was about parity then so it should be at least $40 cheaper now.
