Ive had a look at the bike & the standard mufflers have an exup sort of arrangment, with cables going into the link pipes. Can someone tell what this is & can it be disconected without any problems, & does this the new mufflers need this to work etc etc. Thanks
Mate I have this model zed and when I put on my yoshi slip ons just disconnected the cables at the servo and the rest came away withe the exhaust....it is only in the right hand side if I'm correct....
And it dosnt need a stopper on the servo like my zx6 did...hope this helps
The purpose of that valve was to increase back pressure at lower RPMs to give better low end performance. Jim Beam Decreases back pressure on the brain, only if you have 10 to 35 shots.
