That's actually a Delkivic stainless steel system.
They have a very similar shape/style to the Kerker at quarter of the price........http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Stainless-St ... 3f4bae9b73

Bought the headers only and chose a SS Cone Engineering reverse meg for a muffler....it should bark. :D

Looking pretty damn good Dave! Shane P at my work has shown me some pics too!
Who did the sweet paint job..? What did they use as a colour - looks pretty spot-on to the Metallic Stardust Silver!
(I'm also restoring a '78 Z1-R and am looking to get the paintwork done soon)

Slimey as I didn't have a paint code as such....chose "Havasu blue metallic" its a Honda car colour recommend by another source.
It tends to look different in different light ....whether is a perfect match or not its all I had to go by. ;)

Did my own pinstripes and had my good friend and pro painter do the work for me.

Thanks for that Dave - that was the colour that I was considering - looks nice and is a pretty close match to the original.
There's a lot of hoo-haa about paints and what's right/wrong but as long as you're happy that's the main thing.
You could line up a few examples of paint which are close matches against the OEM colour and each of them would look "correct" in various lighting conditions and notso "correct" in others.
Once again though a top resto job - I'm hoping to have my bike mobile by March next year.
Will post some more pics as it progresses.
BTW Shane P showed me a clip of the bike (with black livery) running, with the shorty mega - sounds pretty crisp!

Think I'll go with the full SS Delkevik zorst - quite like the look of the Marving one but not happy with the painted/unchromed area
of the pipes near the collector - apparently this welded area is not able to be chromed (dunno why?) Anyway, the SS saves a lot of weight and is more durable.

That looks awesome!
And gives me added inspiration to get on and complete this one.

I've made significant progress and think I'm on the home straight now - hoping to get the top end done and the engine/frame reunited this weekend.

Wow!

I have one of these packed in a box in the shed.

That fills me with desire to get it out and start the process...
