GPz550 header pipes

Postby Gosling1 » Sun Jul 07, 2013 1:05 pm

On the hunt for some original headers pipes to suit a 550 - I know there are a couple of these being done up around the place, maybe some spares floating around ?

These are for a mate's bike - Mark Boddy, some of you would know Mark from PCRA racing. He is doing up his wife's 550, it hasn't been on the road for a few years.

If there are any out there, could you let me know ?

cheers

Mine (2x 2 into 1) were pretty much knackered. Nice and rusty and cracked and bending like cardboard. No use to anyone. Weirdly enough I think I may have kept them and buried them at the back of the shed. Don't know why. :-?
The second set are 4 into one. In slightly better knick but being kept. Sorry I can't help.

I think he has OEM rear pipes, so 4-2 ? Can check & confirm but I am pretty sure that is what he has.

Cheap.

They're not the only ones that pop up. Mostly on eBay they are 4 into 1, either chrome or black. Always similar price.

yeh those 4-1 systems are good value - but old mate already has one of those ;) - he is just hoping that we can find a set of unmolested OEM header pipes to suit the 4-2 rear pipes that he found recently....
