Got this in my e-mail, can anyone help..

------------

Dave,

I am having a lot of trouble finding someone with a 79’ Z1300 in Green candy.
We are doing a restoration/repair to a bike, that is not the correct colour.
My question is, would someone have a, luminous green candy (code C1) bike, that I can colour match off?
The part will not be damaged in any way, I need to see the colour in different lights, to get the colour correct.

Should you have any queries please return an email or contact us on (02) 9725 5600 or by fax on (02) 9725 4029.

I think the Z650 and Z440 came in the same colour. I'm guessing though that with ageing of a 30 year old paint job, a colour match may be difficult.

good luck with that mate - I haven't seen a 1300 in that candy green for years. And matching up to 30 year-old paint could be hard - sometimes you can get lucky with the inside of a sidecover or section of tank or ducktail that has not seen the sun.....

You dont see many of them around at all.
There was one that always went through Woodford Qld every Sunday morning anytime I went through there and stop for fuel a few years ago, although it wasnt mint it was close too it and i cant remember if it was that green or not :? bit of a long shot tho.
