New Question - Clutch Basket

Hi all,

I have been trying to find information on the springs or lack of in the clutch basket in the KZ650, mine moves freely back and forth with no resistance at all, there is a dowel in a slot in the back of the basket that moves from side to side. This gives a feeling like a solid center clutch, you need to slip the clutch more to get moving, it also adds to the noises in the engine.

My question is, does the KZ650 Clutch Basket have springs? If they do can they be replaced?
