Moriwaki piston kit - Z1000 A1

Postby THJ79 » Fri Apr 23, 2010 2:56 pm

Hi, long shot here, but I'm helping my uncle source parts to restore his departed brother's race bike - 1977 Z1000 A1. He's looking for a 73mm Moriwaki piston kit (or a Yoshimura one - depends what we can find either way).

Has anybody got any information at all on who might still either do or have either of these kits? I can supply part numbers for either if needed. If someone has a kit sitting at home gathering dust, I'm willing to talk a decent deal.

Cheers,

Tim.

Hi Tim

these kits are pretty difficult to unearth these days - Wiseco kits can be found at Serco in Brisbane, and you could also try JE Piston in the US.

That's a great link Sulli ! Had a bit of a look around, couldn't find any old Z-based piston kits, but they do make a lot of stuff for the old girls still.....

How about this piece of kit ?? :P :P :P :P

The best option is to email them and get them to see what's sitting on the shelf out the back or in the redundant stock pile ;)
