This is my Daddy's 1989/90 Kawasaki GPX 250. This is the bike, that when I was 8, he took me to school on and I fell in love with the idea of being on 2 wheels and goin Fast!! (at 8yo, 60km/h is FAST!)

I've always loved this bike - as old as it is, I've always wanted to ride it.













"Precious" as me and Mum named it, has been treated better than us kids. its never been raced ( ) and he's only ever done 110km/h on it, and that was on the way to Sydney back in 2001. Dad is not exactly Valentino Rossi...

Its got heaps of custom polished stainless steel fittings all custom measured, made and cut by hand.

What do you guys think?

The stainless looks suss...... Me thinks leave it for the Hardleys

Well he's always wanted a Harleyy, so maybe he was trying to turn it into one?? its actually up for sale!!

Which Dude? Oh and yeah I rode it last weekend, well sorta. I moved it from one place to another (about 50m) but me thinks thats as good as its going to get! He walked behind the bike (i was crawling) just to make sure i wasnt going to crash it or what not. Its like a fourth child. The third being our Dog!

i've been helping a mate look at alot of 250's lately and so far nothing comes close to that.

Gos did clean out that poor donut guy well and truly!

I never bought one packet from that robber !!!!

but I did tax a lot of packets that came back to the cR tents ....
